On Friday, November 11,PAWS Chicago hosted the 2011 celebration of the Fur Ball, a black tie gala held annually to raise funds for animals in need of rescue.
Dr. Royal, who is on the PAWS Chicago Board of Directors, accompanied a sold out crowd at the Drake Hotel, the first such crowd in the 10-year history of the Fur Ball! Patrons enjoyed cocktails while viewing the extensive silent auction offerings, including a package from the Royal Treatment, to further help raise funds for this worthy cause. The party then moved to the ballroom for an elegant buffet while pets enjoyed their own gourmet meals a massage in a posh suite upstairs. The evening raised a record breaking $750,000 for the help of animals in need.
